For Alamo families looking for one practice, for good
Most of our Alamo patients came on a recommendation from a neighbor. That is, more or less, the entire marketing strategy.

Who this is for
- Your long-standing dentist has retired or sold the practice
- You want somewhere your children will not be afraid of
- You would rather one practice handled everything
- You are looking for a second opinion on a treatment plan
What people from Alamo tend to be looking for
Almost always the same thing: somewhere to settle. Alamo households tend not to move much, and people who plan to be somewhere for twenty years want a dentist on the same timescale.
That is a different requirement from convenience. It means continuity — the same dentist, the same hygienist, the same person answering the phone — and it means records that go back far enough to be useful.
We have x-rays from years back on many of our patients, which is what lets us tell the difference between a spot that has looked exactly like that since 2014 and one that is genuinely changing. A new practice sees a photograph. A practice that has your history sees a trend.
Second opinions, without the awkwardness
A fair number of people find us because they were handed a treatment plan somewhere else and it did not sit right.
Bring it in. We will look at it with you honestly — including the times we think the other practice was right, which happens often. You are not obliged to move, and we will not spend the appointment criticizing a colleague.
What you will get is your own images on a screen and a straight account of what we would do and what we would leave alone.
The drive, and the parking
We are at 2491 San Ramon Valley Blvd in San Ramon, down the valley from Alamo. Free parking directly outside, ground floor, step-free from the parking lot.
If you are coming a distance, book the family together. One morning, everyone seen, out before lunch — it is the single most useful thing we can arrange for a household making the trip.
What to expect
Here’s how the visit actually goes.
No surprises. That’s the whole idea.
01
Before you arrive
Paperwork by text or email, insurance verified in advance.
02
The first visit
About an hour and a half, unhurried. A conversation before anything clinical happens.
03
A full assessment
Photos, x-rays if due, gums charted, and an oral cancer screening every visit.
04
Records requested
We will get your history from your previous practice so nothing is repeated unnecessarily.
05
A plan you take away
Written, priced, and yours to think about.
Questions
Answered before you ask.
Will you request my records?
Yes. Give us your previous practice's details and we will handle it. Bring recent x-rays if you have copies and we will not repeat imaging that is still current.
Do you see children?
Yes, from their first visit onward. Early appointments are deliberately short and uneventful — that is what makes them relaxed about it at twelve.
What if I have not been to a dentist in years?
Then you are in extremely common company and nobody here will comment on it. We will work out where things stand and build a plan you can work through in whatever order suits your budget.
Can I get a second opinion without switching?
Absolutely. Bring the treatment plan and the x-rays if you have them. Plenty of people do this and stay where they are, and that is a perfectly good outcome.
