Family Dentistry · San Ramon

One dentist for everyone under your roof

Toddlers, teenagers, you, and eventually your parents — seen by the same people who already know your family.

A mother and her two daughters among blossoming trees

Who this is for

  • Two working parents trying to fit dental visits into one trip
  • Families new to San Ramon, Danville, or Dublin looking for a long-term practice
  • Parents who want their kids comfortable at the dentist from the very start
  • Anyone who’d rather not manage three different offices

Why one practice for everyone is worth something

When we’ve seen a family for fifteen years, we notice things a new office can’t. We know which patterns run in your family, which of your kids clenches under exam stress, which grandparent’s gums need watching. That context is genuinely clinical, not sentimental.

It’s also just easier. One office, one set of records, one phone number, one team who knows your names.

Booking the whole family at once

Ask us to stack your appointments and we will. Most families do one morning: parents and kids back-to-back, everyone out before lunch. It’s the single most useful thing we can do for a household with two working parents, and it costs us nothing but scheduling care.

Children who aren’t afraid of us

A child’s first several visits aren’t really about their teeth. They’re about establishing that this room is safe and these people are kind. So the first visit is short. They sit in the chair, we count their teeth, they choose something from the drawer, and they leave having enjoyed it.

We never hold a child down, and we never spring anything on them. If they need a moment, they get a moment. Kids who are handled this way at four are not afraid at fourteen — and that is the whole point.

There’s a dedicated children’s area with room to wait and something to do, so the sibling who isn’t being seen isn’t melting down in the corner.

What to expect

Here’s how the visit actually goes.

No surprises. That’s the whole idea.

  1. 01

    For the little ones

Short, unhurried, and entirely on their terms. We count teeth, take a look, and let them touch the mirror if they want to.

  2. 02

    For school-age kids

Cleaning, exam, fluoride, and sealants if their molars would benefit. We explain everything to them directly, not over their heads to you.

  3. 03

    For teenagers

Wisdom teeth monitoring, orthodontic timing, and a frank conversation about the things teenagers actually do — sports mouthguards, energy drinks, whitening before prom.

  4. 04

    For you

Your own cleaning and exam, in the same visit, without arranging separate childcare.

Questions

Answered before you ask.

When should my child first see a dentist?

The general guidance is by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth. Honestly, the first couple of visits are mostly about getting them comfortable — but starting early is genuinely easier than starting at five.

My child is terrified. What do you do differently?

We slow down. First visit might be nothing more than sitting in the chair and meeting us. We tell them exactly what we’re about to do before we do it, we stop when they ask, and we never restrain a child. Most kids who arrive frightened are fine by the third visit.

Can we all be seen on the same day?

Yes, and we’d encourage it. Tell whoever books your appointment how many of you there are and we’ll build the morning around it.

Do you do sealants and fluoride?

Yes. Sealants on permanent molars are one of the highest-value things we do for kids — they’re quick, painless, and prevent the majority of cavities in the grooves where children actually get them.
